Memorial Day Weekend!

How was everyone's holiday weekend? What did you do? BBQ anyone?

We fired up the BBQ and had Hamburgers on Sunday and Carne Asada and Pollo Asada Tacos on Monday! It was nice having an extra day off work. The weather was beautiful too. Nice breeze, not too hot. Perfection!

I hope everyone enjoyed the weekend.

Its hot here.  I think the high was 98 degrees.  We spent the weekend out by the pool and I had a few people out to buy chinchillas.  Then Sunday night we built a fire in the back yard fireplace and let the kids roast marshmellows.  Then the mosquitoes crashed the party and threatened to carry us away so we had to call it a night.  :doh:   >:(

It was a great weekend though.  WE missed hubby when he had to go back to work today.

It was around 85 degrees here the whole weekend.
Too windy to BBQ, then hazardout t-storms started randomly.

I used to roast Marshmellows in my fireplace when I was little.  :::grins:: It was a blast! rofl

That's too bad! I hate T-storms!  :( I always jump. LOL, I do enjoy watching the lightening though.  :o

Well (i know I'm a little late) but we had a "sandwich party" We had it outside It was nice here in CT around 80 degrees with a nice breeze. my whole family and ALL of my friends  had a blast making crazy combinations. After swimming in the pool we all had a nice strawberry smoothie with brownies (extra fudge  ; my favorite)
