Today is the first cool day in a long time its less than 100 out. Yea!! 

 
  Reminds me of the years in Memphis, TN  .... between the heat and humidity ... it's a wonder anything survives!

Sorry to those of you that don't have air or thiers is broken I keep reading about how hot is there and think omg.
I could live there but on Wed I do volunteer work for a church food bank and I wore jeans cause I am in air and sometimes are cold. well any way I get there and am working for a while and I said I didn't realize how hot it is out here it is getting to be like in the uper 90's they said lately? so the heat wave is every where I have been putting a jar in thier cage daily since I had to clean my carpets and open the door to air dry the carpet it dried in like 1-1/2 hr  2 at the most and well I watching Buddy stick his heat in the jar trying to get to the ice (this was after I closed the doors and turned the air back on and it was cold again) so I have been giving him ice cubes he loves those to bite on and stuffnow he will only eat ice not too much on the water bottle anymore guess he is spoiled!!!!!!! on yet another thing

  My boys come home last night now that the air is fix and it's cooler. I have missed them so much.

Finally a little relief from the heat. It wasn't too hot yesterday, but the humidity was murder! It is cool and rainy this morning.  It's such a nice break from the heat.

It's been so humid here as well, must be that ozone layer.
We'll take the nice weather though.

I live in the mountains of Virginia ... and it's suppose to be (officially) 98 and 99 with heat indexes in the 110+ range for the next 3 days.  Of course, that's at the airport ... everywhere else is usually about 5 degrees hotter!  That's very unusual for here.  Then there are the pop-up storms ... every one knows what they do ... hello steam bath!

It is sooooo hot here too it looks like it os going to rain here but it is jus the humidity

It is really hot here to. I have 2 A/Cs going for my chins. I had froze some can goods for them but I gave those to my puppies. The extra A/C we put in has the house really cool, but my puppies have flees and I don't want them in the house so I put a fan out for them and put the frozen cans in the corners of the dog house. I am hopping this will help cool them off some. I feel so bad for them out there. When my husband gets home from work I think we are going to put another A/C in a little shed I have and try to keep them cool also.

I would wet My 5 dogs down, then I put them inside were it was cool.They have long fur!
