play time time?
« on: January 27, 2008, 01:29:53 PM »

Hi guys!  I'm sitting here a bit bored on a Sunday afternoon and was wondering what everyone thinks about occasionally breaking the chin's schedule and letting them out to play a little earlier/longer than usual?  This wouldn't be an every day thing, but maybe once per week.  Please advise, I really want to play with Lulu now!  Thanks!

I wouldn't disturb her if she is sleeping, but there should be no problem if she is awake. Who wouldn't want to play a little more!

Thanks!  I let her out and we played for 15 minutes.  Now she's under the dresser (her favorite place) taking a nap.  She'll come out when she wants to play some more.  It's her usual routine when I let her out from 5-8 pm every day.  We play and she takes naps under there intermittently, before dinner is served in her cage at 8.  I can't wait until her flying saucer comes tomorrow!  She's going to love it!

Do you have 8 separate cages?  Could you just get one and rotate it from cage to cage on  ::shrug:: different days?

I actually had to buy them over a period of time.  I have 7 total.  I put one in each of my large cages and one in the playpen area.

I have a few larger cages and a few nursery cages. Are they fairly easy to rotate? I know the one wheel I have was so large, I had to take the cage apart and put it back together in order to get the wheel in. That is a good idea to collect them over time. I just didn't want any resentful chins!
