My chinchillas are going to be on a Hallmark card!!! Vote for their card to be printed for a year and also be featured in another card

I always look for chinchilla merchandise at gift stores and I'm always disappointed.

That is precious. I was doing my Christmas shopping and found the Nick Jr. show Go Diego Go toys and they had chinchillas. I bought all of them! It is funny, because that show was the start of our chinchilla fascination. I had seen them in the pet store and we watched the show one morning and got a chin that afternoon. But I live in MS, and I don't know very many people who even know what a chinchilla is, so it is impossible to find chinnie items. If I see that card in a store, I would buy every last one they carried!

i looked up Go Diego Go but couldn't really find any pictures of Chinta the baby chinchilla.  i will definately look for the toys next time i'm at a toy store

   I voted today and will do so every day!  We need a company with a name like Halmark to get chinchillas out there and up front!

There is only 1% difference in the voting so far ... #1 is a kangaroo ... #2 is a chinchilla ...

How did you get them to keep those hats on....or are they photo-shopped on?  Regardless, it's very cute, and I've voted for you!

Thank you all, and spread the word!!  This is so exciting. 

In every picture my chins are actually wearing the hats, even if other aspects may have been altered in photo shop. 

However, the birthday picture is a real picture.  It took sooooooo many practice shots to get it perfect. 

If you haven't seen the others photos, check some of them out in the photo gallery on this forum

Also, Newie has a myspace page with tons and tons of really cute pictures.  You can also see all the photos that it took to finally get the perfect Hallmark shot     You have to sign up to veiw the photo album, but it's really easy.  It's also another way to connect to chinchilla owners; Newie has a ton of chinchilla friends.

Saw it and voted. I wouldn't mind seeing that card in the stores, I would buy a few to send out for birthdays.

Currently 6%, highest being 9% for some cat that looks fake. We really need everyone on the forums to vote, maybe set this as a global announcement so everyone can see and maybe vote? :-)

It would be something an admin would have to do if it is able to be setup on these forums. I use PHPBB3 and can do it with a little work but I am not sure with these.
