I have got a new chin

Hello my name is louise i would like to know if chin's like to be covered up at night so they can sleep and if they like to sleep in new's paper or what. iam new at this so please let me know thank's louise & ruby my chin.

Chins definately like to be in/under something when they sleep. I guess it makes them feel safe, because they're so small  ::silly::

I don't think they would necessarily want you to cover them (although your chin may be very loving so you can try), but they need you to provide something for them to use.  Of my two chins, Newie sleeps in his wheel and Chewie sleeps under his hammock.  It's funny because it looks like Chewie uses the hammock as a blanket.   

You can just try putting a varitey of things you think they might want.

The best thing is a wooden nesting box. They will love it, sleep in it and chew it. ::nod::
Just make sure it's not a plastic one because if they eat the plastic it can get stuck in their digestive system and even kill them. :(
But chinchillas are nocturnal so they are not going to be sleeping at night! She'll probably be making lots of noise once she's settled in. :)
