can someone tell me what a breeding collar is??

Breeding collars are metal rings (most of the time) that go around the females neck to keep her from entering the breeding run. 

The hole in the back of the breeding cage is opened when you want the male to go and come and it prevents the female from going into the run where she could enter other female cages.
