Pictures can be VERY deceiving! The surroundings and the type of lighting can really change the appearance of the color of the subject in the picture.
A 'white' is any chinchilla that has white on it anywhere, other than just on it's belly.

A white mosaic has white fur with some gray markings, dark ears and dark pads on it's feet.
A beige can be varring shades of beige, has pink ears and pink pads on it's feet
A "pink white" is technically a white beige cross. It is both white and beige.
A "pink white" has pink ears and pink pads on it's feet (from the beige in it's background) and white fur (from the white mosaic in it's background).
A hetero beige can have beige fur from the lightest shades to the darkest shades of beige.
A homo beige is usually a very light beige and has light pink eyes with a milky fog around the iris of the eye.
