Some are not easy to groom.
I had one brake a leg when he jump from me while trying. Got his leg stuck on the edge of a deep pan that the cage sat down into. I was sitting to close to it and his leg got hooked when he leaped.
I'm guessing you know you have to go from tail to head combing against the growth.
I would suggest a comfy chair, a good tail grip and loads of patients. Start slow with just a few stokes up from the tail spending no more than 10 minutes per chins. Gradually increase until your combing right to the head.
Once they are well groomed a scattered combing will do fine, unless your showing.
You'll want to stop the baths for 3 days before you comb.
You'll have to get to a show to see the best way I would figure.
I'm a pet breeder who never shows so I just groom for a healthy coat.
I have found for just loose fur stroking them with the growth using a rubber cat mitt helps as does a lint brush.
