are the t-rex chubes safe for a chinchilla to chew. they are made of the vegetable parchment. is that ok, or could it cause blockages?

I have bought my chins a chube and although they are having fun, i dont want anything bad to happen out of them eating/chewing the chube. it says vegetable make, but it looks like a hard piece of cardboard

::silly::  I've never used them, but do know many people that have ... as far as I know, there has been no problems with them and chinchillas.

NOTE:  I would remove the cotton bedding ... that, I would not give my chins.
