I found this interesting...Our chins won't take treats from strangers!

We had our employees over for lunch the other day when they were working in our lake association. And they are always beggin' to see the chinchillas...Grown men...but they sure know how to beg... ::) So my husband offered the one guy a treat to offer to the chins...they REFUSED it! When we offered it to them...they took it with no hesitation...I was amazed that they would turn treats down.

Chinchillas are like children.  You brag and brag about them and then when company comes over they get all shy!   ;D

Is that it? Not even a raisin would they take from the stranger. I mean...that's like chinchilla crack! And only one a day...To not take it from a stranger was shocking to me...shy you say...possibly. But they took one from my husband.
