No problem about the questions ... that's what we are here for ... to help you keep your chin safe and healthy.

That is very cute and I'm sure your chin would love it ... but ... it would probably be destroyed/eaten within a week or two ... always remember ... chinchillas will chew on anything they can get their little teeth into.

Even the beautiful wood huts are really nice, but last only so long. Please check out:

I would save your chin money and put it into a special account/place for a chinchilla emergency. I make it a point to find the price of something and see what I can replace the item with that is just as safe (or safer) and costs much less ... the money I save is them deposited into my special chinchilla bank.

You are willing to pay $9.99 + shipping for it ... for the same amount of money, you could purchase the wood and wood screws it would take to make at least 2 huts that would probably last your chin about 4 to 6 months or longer. Hm-mm that's saving you a minimum of $20 a month that you could add to your chinchilla emergency bank.

Plus, just think of the pride you would take in making something with your own hands for your chinchilla? (What a project to do/share with your kids! - and teach them how to save money at the same time)
