::silly::Hi Asikovsek,

My Buster looks just like your pom.   ::nod::  His mom refused to walk on wet grass, also.

Cats usually get sores when they get into a fight ... out side cats do tend to get into fights much more than inside cats.

Any scratch, cut or nick can abscess.
I had one on a chins eye I believe came from over grooming by her female cage buddy.
Chins being chins, dusting, rolling in the shavings and such it doesn't take much for an infection to set in.
Just as outside cats are into more dirt than if they were inside, though it could happen any way.

 ::silly::.....Yea I like to keep my cats inside cats because of our location it seems like Fleas are a big problem around here...all my cats and dog are inside animals and I had to get the house bombed 2 times because of fleas.....and of course had to flea treat the animals every month.....Fleas are so evil and a pain to deal with...lol....I seem to have it under control...I am glad Chins can't get fleas.... ;)

I got lucky I haven't had a flea problema nd we live by woods like 5 feet from our sliding doors I hate fleas that is another reason why my cats are indoor cats :::grins::
