Pictures of My 6 Week Old Triplets (Finally)
« on: January 12, 2010, 06:25:20 PM »

Sorry it took so long!  With the move and everything, I haven't taken as many pictures as I usally do.  The babies were born on December 3rd.

Little Boy:  All white
Little Boy:  White with beige markings (super smart one, he can figure it all out and teach the others!)
Little Girl:  Beige

They will be available in a few weeks!  We are in the Charlotte, NC area.  Dad is a standard grey and came from a breeder in Arvada Colorado.  Mom is a pink white and came from a breeder in Toranado Kansas.

Thanks!  Sorry, they are just personal pets and we aren't set up to do shipping.   :'(  They are really really sweet though.  The white / beige mix actually figured out how to squeeze himself under the bathroom door tonight!  He is a real Mr. McSmarty pants in every sense of the word!  Gotta love em!

I didn't name this litter although the white with tan has been acting like a little Houdini!  I sometimes will name them based on personality but it makes it a litte harder to sell them you know?  Could just be me but I get sooooo atattched to them.

::silly::  Nope, it's not just you.  We have had, on occasions 200+ chinchillas at different times.  It is always hard to part with them.

I always name each one (the new human-chin-parent can always rename them) ... yes, it makes it harder to part with them, but also makes me make special extra efforts that they are going to the best homes they can be in .... of course I've made a few mistakes in that area, I think we all have.  But, yes, naming each one makes it more personal between you and each and every kit.   ::nod::  Not a bad thing if you think about it.   :::grins::

They are so sweet!!!!!!!

I like to name  my kits so that when they get to their new home they have something else they are familiar with. Beside all the stuff I give to the new owners.
They can always rename them, it doesn't take long for them to learn, and most mine know their names by 3-4 weeks old.
