Considering ...
« on: January 12, 2010, 01:37:18 PM »

::silly::  I'm thinking about making a few chinchilla things, but want to get your input on them.
Please be honest ... I can take criticism/suggestions as well as I dish it out.   :)

These are strictly for use with a chin outside of the cage, not in the cage.
Please let me know your thoughts and possible idea of a price on each (just to be able to set an approximate value on them at the raffle).
I will add new ones as I do them, so check back to see them.

Any other ideas you might come up with for me to make, shout 'em out.

I am hand crocheting and/or knitting them personally.

If the doctor will permit it and I feel up to it, I will be going to the show Saturday and will raffle them off, if permitted.  If so, half the proceeds will be donated to the new Empress Division of the Southern Unit of the Ohio Branch ECBC 1st Annual ECBC Show.   (Got to check with them first ... please let me know what you think of the different items.)

I hope to be able to go and to see you all there.

The kit supplement holder is used by putting a new kit into the holder and allow it to go to the other end ... close off the bottom with your little finger and use your thumb and pointer finger to hold the top and keep his/her front paws inside the holder {a napkin or paper towel can be placed under the chin of the kit to catch any over flow of formula}.

The Play Hutch is to be used outside of the cage for your little one to run in and hide.   :)

The chinchilla Tote is to carry around your chin ... not your stuff ...  :::grins:: ... the strap is adjustable.

I love the supplement holder idea!!  When you are trying to handfeed a healthy kit that doesn't want any part of it it would be great to get them in that sleeve and keep all of those little body parts contained!

They are so cute, I love the carrier pouch. Been using one the life of my chins. It sure helps when friends want to hold them, my chins feel safe.
