Tonight I did one of my Chinchilla. I wasn't sure what song to play over it though, and I'm not entirely satisfied with my choice. I mean with the ferret it's any song that relays her hyperness, but the chinchilla is a bit more laid back.

But that's beside the point. I figured I'd share the video here. Hopefully this is the right place to post it on this site

Merlin is a boy and he weighs about a pound and a half which converts to... 680 grams (which I am told is the unit for weighing chins our only scale weighs in pounds though)

He is at least 4 years old, probably more like 5 or 6, we got him and Gandalf(who was put down in November) as an adult from a person who's roommate had gotten chinchillas then left them behind when she moved out. The person who was "stuck" with them didn't honestly want them in the first place so we got Merlin and Gandalf for free with a cage and accessories.

And yeah he's a black velvet :3

   Cute video ... very calm/friendly chin (especially with his history).   

You've put out a real smorgasbord of treats for him.  (They should only have one or two treats per day.)
What all do you have there?     Looks like papaya  rosehips  maybe pineapple and yucca   

... but, I see a    nuts ... please do not feed your chinchilla nuts, they can not properly digest nuts and fat builds up in the liver, which can eventually kill a chin.  It's a common mistake many make and do not find out until it is to late for their chin.
