How old is my Chin???

I got my chinchilla a couple months ago from petsmart. I asked them how old they generally are when they get them and they said they have no idea exactly but normally as soon as they are old enough to be seperated from their mommies. About how old would that be? I would just like a rough estimate of how old he is incase he has to go to the vet. Thanks

chinchillas can be weaned at 8 weeks old.  :)

I think your looking at 3 months by the time they get shipped and out of quarentine. Then how long were they at the pet shop?
