[Ari and Ingram]

Ingram has a few tiny little clusters of fur right in between his eyes that seem to be coming lose. It almost seems like he has gotten something sticky on him and he is trying to get it off but cant get to it. I checked and there is no blood. I can tell it is bothering him, and Im sure I am bothering him by constantly picking at it. Would it be ok to wipe it off with a damp rag? Thanks

Could he be poking his nose out somewhere and rubbing the fur?
Just wondering what he could have gotten on his fur.
After wiping give him a dust bath.

Its too high up on his head for it to be something like that, although he does stick his nose outside the cage alot. So cute.

I think it is either
A: He has gone potty on the top level of his cage and it has dripped on him..yuck!
or
B: He has those hanging granola like seed chew things in his cage and maybe he was chewing on it and it hit him on the head while it was wet from his slobber.

Yup those things can get sticky, take it out and see if it goes away, stops happening.
Funny little critters can get into anything.

   Just enough moisture on a baby wipe or soft cloth should be enough to wipe it off and not hurt the chin.

You might want to check the ingredients on the "hanging granola" ... often, those things contain honey ... that's usually a little to much sugar content for chins to have more than as a treat.

If he is slobbering, you might want to think about letting a vet check his teeth ... just as a precaution.
