Chinchilla Cage Habitat
« on: June 24, 2010, 05:51:11 PM »

Greetings! Im new to the forums!

Can anyone post pictures of their chins' cages and/or habitat setups? Would be interesting to see how far some pet lovers have gone to give their chillas the best care and housing

I am still redesigning the cage levels. But in the meantime heres a picture of Cleopatra

I will take more pics on saturday. the whole cage is made of untreated pine. the only thing they have chewed on is the house that I made them, and they have definately made it their own.

hi again.. actually you really should.. people don't realize how important it is to have a scale until your chin gets sick, and i do include myself in that statement... that is actually why i say it.. i have been threw it..  there are many type of scales you don't have to spend alot of money.. i got mine at walmarts...  nothing special at all.. but it sure comes in handy..

Yes, plus I have my pottys in dollar store plastic containers so they pee in there and there is no bedding all over.

Mine don't, they pee in their pottys, plus you save a BUNDLE on bedding doing it this way.
