The dog bowl idea is good. Try that.

::silly::  Here are a few:  glass baking dish ... the clear glass containers you find that set on one side and have a lid (look similar to a fish bowl with an extra flat side ... ??? ... a chimnenia ... clay pots ... ceramic pots ... if you have somewhere you can get lots of small cardboard boxes - those would even be disposable ... there is one that is ceramic that looks like a chinchilla that works great ... an empty cardboard oatmeal container ... a wooden or metal tray.  The best ones (for the least mess) will usually have tall sides and or a small opening (less gets flung into the air with these).

Avoid thin glass, aluminum and plastic containers.

Only allow the bath to last 15 to 20 minutes max.

Hope this helped.   :)

Those are some good ideas. I use one of the plastic bath houses from pets mart, but its kinda cracked, was kinda like that when i got it but didn't feel like the hazzle of returning it but i wish i did bc sometimes the go crazy and knock it over and the dust goes through the crack. it also makes it harder to clean.

I use an old fashioned style candy jar.
It has a lid you can put on when their done, and I can put it in the dishwasher to clean and sanitize it.

Yes I like the candy jars too. Look for something with a neck as it will keep the dust in a little better than an open dish.

Maybe a kitchen storage canister? Like the ones that come in a set of four, for flour, rice coffee - etc? Or a cookie jar, lol. That would be so cute! Little Chinny in the cookie jar!  rofl Just be sure you get all the cookies out first!  ::silly::

I use a fishbowl and turn it on it's side so my Delilah can climb in and I wash it once a week.

jrod, The fish bowl is a good idea, but Delilah should have a dust bath more then just once a week, atleast a few times.

1newchin, Chin Fish... I love it. I can see it now... rofl

I use the pastic one, since i always watch him take bath and he doesn't bite the pastic, I don't see the need of getting a nonplastic one
