So I like animals ALOT, but I seem to be the only person around me who likes them this much. I find an hour well spent researching something about my chins or learning a new way to train my horses. If I could I would spend all day playing with my babies and I would be the happiest person. Others around me aren't so enthused and don't find discussing and debating information on chins and horses interesting, and they don't like listening to me brag about them. They will listen patiently because they are awsome friends but they aren't really interested.
Am I alone, overly obsessive, and crazy or are there others like me out there?

some people just aren't animal people.  my ex used to get annoyed because whenever we went out and i started to chat with someone it always ended up being another animal lover and we would chat about our animals.. haha.. but some people just don't love them like we do.. they don't see the joy they bring us.

my fiance claims to love animals too but still gets annoyed with me because that seems to be the only thing I talk about..........I don't think so but oh well, my animals are my life, my babies and that's what matters to me so that's what I talk about!!!

I love animals and talk about mine alot and take way to many pictures and spend money on them. My parents and friends and b/f think i already have to many animals bc i have 2 chins and to kittys. I don't agree. I wish i could i could save all the animals i see at pet stores/ shelters but I can't. I recently got back with my ex, but still not sure. I know what i'm about to say is sad, but If i do date someone else they gotta like my chinchillas. That's one reason i liked Dan so much is because when we ment he know what a chinchilla was and had one when he was younger. He didn't take care of him like i do with my but still. And he was good with them.

once before when the ex lived her, i told him if there was ever a fire, you are on your own because i'm going for my babies.. later i found out that really bothered him... i'm like too bad, animals are helpless, they need us to protect them.

I found in the early years I ate slept and breathed chinchillas. Drove most everyone crazy.
It's now been 12+ year so most folks around me are used it, and my enthusiasm seems to have calmed some. I only get really chatting now when asked.
But open the door and I'm all over it :2funny:the energizer bunny has nothing on me.
