So about a week ago I bought another chinchilla: male, approx. 3-4months old and he is a PetSmart baby. I know it only encourages them, but I just couldn't leave him there!  
Thus far he has been awsome!
He doesn't chew on anything outside of the cage and hasn't peed any where. Even from the get-go he has been curious and Very out-going. It has been so much fun to watch him learn how to use his hind legs and jump; he gets so excited and gives me that "look at what I just did!" look    
Still I can't decide what to name him!

It's hard! sometimes it just takes time! i tend to name them depending on their character and sometimes it takes ages to work out what they're like! my first litter was called 'skinny, average and chunky' for about six weeks! then they ended up as spock (he's very calm), pippi (after pippi longstocking because she was the most ginger of them all) and ffynn (after huckleberry finn because he was always in trouble escaping from the cage all the time!)

i just got a rescue chin and named her maye.. then changed the spelling to mae a week later and kept thinking good job i don't have kids!

you could give him a provisional name (it may stick though!)

I decided on Theo Hardeen who was an escape artist because this little guy is ALWAYS getting out!    but hes a cutie
