Hi everyone

My name's Ciara, I'm from Ireland, I'm 23 and studying vet nursing. I just got my first chinchilla today

She's a little baby female, and a beige-grey colour and just beautiful and so friendly.

I will be getting her a friend soon, just have to save the money and find a good breeder, because it's hard to find chin-breeders around here. I got her from a breeder who I know and I'm so glad I didn't go to a pet shop, because she is so healthy and friendly and well handled.

I also have 4 dogs (Cavaliers), 5 cats, 6 rabbits and 6 guinea pigs. I breed Lionhead rabbits and different breeds of guinea pigs, and hope to breed chins once I get experienced in keeping them

I look forward to chatting about chinchillas with everyone and learning more
