Rose petals

Ive heard that people sometimes give their chinchillas Rose petals, What are the rules to go by? i mean i know not to give them any with pesticides but like are the ones i could buy at Qfc fine?  and what are the nutritional values?

    I don't know about rose peddles, I give mine dried rose hips.  We order them on the net.  They have lots of vitamins in them ... my little ones love them.  ::nod::

I give pink rose buds as a treat, those that you find in Vitakraft cocktail but fresher. They're very high in Vit C and help with the immune system (human and animals)

Mine also like rose hip but never herd about rose petals.
