Lava Ledge?

Has anyone heard of a Lava Ledge before? Is it safe for chinchillas?

i've seen them and wanted to get them but then got lava stones instead. they are safe and good for their teeth. if you get one, the only thing i'd say is check it regularly to make sure they've not eaten it to the point where it's too small for them to land on or likely to break.

Ok, so it is safe for them to chew? I ordered one and it cam in today. We hooked it to the side of the cage and he immediately jumped on it and started gnawing. He seems to really like it. I just wanted to make sure it was ok for him to chew on.

yes it's good :) it helps to wear their teeth down. glad he likes it! i might get some for mine when they destroy the pine ones!

Yes..Mine love the lava ledges and lava drops..They also come in triangles....The lava drops are great as they attach to the side of the cage and when the little buggers go up the the "wheels", it looks like they are attempting to drive a car...and that is waaaay too cute!  :2funny:
