PLEASE HELP Kit is not eating or drinking
« on: October 23, 2011, 05:59:59 PM »

Hi all

The kits were weaned and placed into their own cages. The female kit is eating and drinking. The male is not eating his pellets or drinking his water. He is chewing his hay though.

OK here is an update. This is weird.  I moved the male kit to his sister's cage and his sister to her brotehr's cage. The male is acting normal now, but the female is acting like he was. could it be the location of the cage? It is right next to me. I am at my computer. I'm going to shut it down and see if it makes a difference.

No they are different. But They are acting normal now.  ::shrug:: I guess they just needed to get used to the new layout. I tried to make the location of the sleeping houses, water bottle, and food dishes the same.

Everyone is eating and drinking now.

The only problem now is the fact that I miscounted the amount of food on hand.   I better hope to God that the snow isn't going to be too bad, because if so, I will have a long long drive in the snow to procur food for them.
