Buying a new chinchilla dilemma.

I have a 5 month old male white mosaic chinchilla. He is very friendly with me. I was considering of buying a 6 month old homo beige female chinchilla from a breeder and I need some advice. In the future I would like to breed them. I don't know if I should allow the male to grow more before introducing a female. As a side note, I have had the male chinchilla for about a month now.
Can I have any suggestions. I also thought that a white mosaic and a homo beige would be a good pair colour wise.

Well, from talking to a breeder, the female shouldn't be having kits until she is at least 8 months anyway...
I would wait until they grow up a little bit... They are still just little fellas!

I would wait, but in Malta coming across a homo-beige female of the right age is no easy task to say the least. Am still in a dilemma.

You need to quarantine the new one for 30 days, then you can put their cages side by side for another month or 2 and then start your introductions. They'll both be of age by then.
I assume you've done all the homework and know what our getting into by breeding?

White mosaic and homo beige would be a good match but you will get only beige and pink whites from the pair. If you go with a hetero beige you get more colors : standard, white mosaic, beige, and pink white. That would be my choice.
