Possibly Looking for a New Home
« on: June 10, 2012, 08:27:11 PM »

Hello! I'm Carolyn.
I've had my chinchilla, Charlie, for about 3 and a half years now, but I am planning on going to college in the fall, so I think I'm going to need to try and find a new home for him.
I know that my family will not pay nearly enough attention to him (they aren't exactly pet people...) and I love him dearly, but I'd rather spend my summer making sure he has a good home to go to before I leave! (I sadly am only allowed to have a goldfish on campus if I have a pet...)

I don't really know how to part with him, but it's for his own good.
I will update this really soon (and with pictures), but for now here's a bit about him/us:

-We are located in norther CT.
-Charlie is a Hetero-Beige, Male, 4 years old (I could be wrong on his coloring, when I was sold him that's what I was told. I will post pictures!)
-I will give him up with his cage, and all of it's contents (plus enough food to ween him onto something else if necessary)

And I am open for suggestions on how I could possibly keep him instead of giving him up, he is my baby after all <3

Hi, I am also from CT, and if you would like I can try to find some one amongst my friends who would be willing to care for him in your absence. I would but I have two girls and don't need that stress when they come into heat. Just lemme know and i will start asking would it just be for the School year or year round till your done with school (4 years?)

Just in case anyone may be wondering, I am not going to be leaving this fall (unfortunately things didn't work out as planned)...
BUT that means I get to keep my baby <3

Thanks for help/suggestions guys, next year I will likely have to go through the same thing (hopefully for my education's sake)...
