Cat Litter?

Is it ok to use cat litter as bedding or can I put some in the corner.... Im trying to litter train!

Yes as long as it is plain clay cat litter with none of those scented agents or other things mixed into it.

Be careful.  Chinchillas will eat anything new you put in the cage.  Don't put anything in that isn't safe for her to eat.

I use ceramic/glass loaf pans for litter pans. I use pine bedding though. Just because I know it won't hurt if they nibble on it. Let me know how the cat litter works. Never heard of that before...

I tried a homemade dust years back that called for bentonite clay, which is plain kitty litter, plus lime and silica sand.
So they will roll in it too.
Crappy stuff it was too. :doh:
