My Astral Projecting Chinchilla
« on: May 01, 2013, 01:18:46 AM »

Hello, im fairly new to having a chinchilla. Its almost been a year and I barely stumbled across an ability my chinchilla has. Ive notice that whenever I talk to my chinchilla in my minds eye(third eye), he understands me and does what I say. Seriously. Everytime I verbally say something to him, he ignores me.. But if I think it, he reacts to my thoughts. Im wondering have chinchillas been able to do this, or is this something associated with the cosmic collective conscious shift of 2012?  Also, I use to practice AP back in 2005 but because of whats written in Deut 18:10-12, I stopped. However, from time to time, I find myself in the most basic plane, the ethereal... consciously there and very lucid. Baumgartner doing a sonic boom in the electromagnetic field is also another reason I will not try to project. Thou when im there, I notice my chinchilla is always there as well. His vibrations are noticeable. Is this something anyone else has experience in? Thank you in advanced...

Note: These are my views and entirely my own and not officially or necessarily endorsed by The Chinchilla Club.

It is an honorable thing to desire God and honor His commandments. That was a good start. I have had some experience with the occult in my own past and have witnessed some freaky things. Although I was not into new-age per se I discovered my spirituality was patterned by it. God has mercifully led me out of that by bringing me to the basics of His Bible. Which BTW, excludes the "lost books" the new age movement tries to pin onto it.

Because people are spiritual beings by nature we all have an innate ability to experience and interact with the spirit world although some are more perceptive than others. Our ability to discern the truth about what we experience, however, has much to be desired, because we are cursed with the nature of sin and our natural desire (contrary to popular belief) is not to seek God but to seek what makes us feel good about ourselves and feeds our selfish pride. The biggest lure of the occult is the promise of supernatural power but it comes at the cost of truth and puts you at the mercy of deceptive spirits. The end result is always confusion and deep uncertainty about the nature of the experiences we are trying to make sense of since they are being filtered through our fallen and sinful minds (Jer 7:19). And because spirits are real that can lead us into very real danger. I believe that is one of the reasons behind God's prohibition on divination and sorcery (Lev 19:6, Lev 19:31, 2Chr 33:6 etc) but certainly not the primary reason, which is to rely on God and not the vague whateveritis of human experience to guide our decisions. (Exo 20:3-6) Otherwise we are not making God the God of our lives and relying on His willful control and not ours in regards to spiritual things.

The world of the occult is filled with charlatans who can fabricate whatever facts they want to, sell millions of books, and no one would be the wiser if they put the right spin on it. Because most of our own encounters and religious experiences are somewhat vague it makes it easy to pigeon-hole them into the framework and interpretations of new-age authors and purveyors of false religion. They can gather thousands of followers and gain credibility they don't deserve. I know this because I've been duped myself for many years and have lived in constant fear of superstitious beliefs. (I was in the Word of Faith movement. More info can be found here: http://www.deceptioninthechurch.com/word-faith.html)

The wisest thing to do is look to God's Word which has withstood the test of historicity for thousands of years, written by people who did not simply have private and vague experiences, but unambiguous experiences that were witnessed by nations and carefully preserved through history. (for a very brief synopsis: http://carm.org/is-the-bible-reliable)  Contrary to popular belief and conspiracy theories by so-called Bible scholars the historicity and accuracy of scripture is truly defensible and logical. Its meanings are logical, concrete and can be understood and proclaimed as absolutely true. When you go to scripture and examine it in context to find those original meanings you will discover a different way and a different kind of power that does not involve occultic things like astral projection, telepathy, psychokenesis, etc. These things are sorcery warmed over and interwoven with ideas borrowed from false religions.

The Bible does establish the existence of deceptive spirits (Eph 6:11-12) that we encounter. They are intelligent beings and I know in my own experience they can and will toy with you especially when you open yourself up to the things you describe. I was pulled in slowly and then the true colors of my practices began to show when I was tormented by spirits which is very common among occultists. When I closed myself off to those extra-biblical practices and relied on God, (who is personal and who hears my pleas for help) and developed a strong Christian worldview based on Scripture, only then I found peace. I was utterly deceived and mercifully corrected.

When you look at the life of Christ and His apostles there is an absence of new-age practices among them. When they approached God they did not look to things outside of him for help but went straight to the source. When God did not grant them what they asked they continued to do His will until their last breath as an act of worship because they understood who God is. Their affection was entirely for Him and their example melts my heart just to think on it.

Aside from that I believe that animals are not spiritual beings. There are numerous Biblical reasons I have for that but I know that is an area of disagreement among Christians (The Bible doesn't specifically say). If you affirm the Bible I strongly recommend that you examine the reasons why you believe what you believe and how that relates to God's Word and make an effort to start closing the door to the occult. I have some links that you might find helpful.

I hope this helps.

Thank You for genuinely being concerned GrayRodent,  ;) the door has closed, thank you. Its just so weird how im thinking something and my chinchilla hears me. As of last week, I have wondered about mankind the same. Its refreshing to hear truth, i have read your comment over and over. However I haven't had a chance to respond.

"The end result is always confusion and deep uncertainty about the nature of the experiences we are trying to make sense of since they are being filtered through our fallen and sinful minds " :)

you mention telepathy, is it really real? I have been overly concerned about this sonic boom being done in our electromagnetic field.

It is true that humanity is fallen for sure. It is still somewhat of a paradox because although we are fallen we are still made in the image of God and retain some ability to discern truth. For example Romans 1:18-20 illustrates that God can reveal Himself in nature, at least to a degree, so it's not like we are impossibly blind to everything. The Bible could not be a standard of truth if we were incapable of interpreting it in some meaningful way. It does point out that at the same time we can be self-deceptive whenever we are in conflict with truth and we should not underestimate ourselves. What we do have is revelation from God clearly steering us away from occult practices.

As far as telepathy goes, personally, I consider that an occult practice. I have experienced it myself with both people and animals but only on rare occasions in my past, and not anything particularly meaningful either. Here's the deal: I don't know where it comes from. This is very similar to spirit channeling if you think about it, but you are making connections now with human (or presumably animal) spirits instead. I think there is a reason we are made the way we are, that we have a physical body that is designed to communicate in a physical way, so I think it's best to not actively pursue that. For all I know I could have been unwittingly channeling some deceptive spirit that was toying with me and trying to entice me to go further into that.

I also know that in the few times it has occurred to me when I was involved the deepest in false religion and the occult and I have not had those experiences sense I exited that scene. So to answer your question "is telepathy real?", I'd say maybe, but we don't have access to the nature of what causes it and it could easily be deceptive spirits making it work in cases where it is real. With this being said I believe that normatively it does not happen and that imagination can play a big role there too.

As far as the electromagnetic field thing goes I'm not sure what you are concerned about. I know you've mentioned its supposed effects on astral planes and things. I am doing my best to demonstrate that these beliefs are speculations not coming from a Christian worldview, are founded in other religions that are opposed to the Bible and therefore we can conclude they are not real and not relevant to anything. If you are concerned about the field causing a physical problem in the earth's magnetic field I'd like you to consider the nature of the field itself. The magnetic core of the earth is generated by the circulation of iron in a molten core and is constantly generated at the speed of light. The only thing that can disrupt that would be a collision or detonation so violent that all life would be instantly wiped out. The magnetic field does vary in intensity and does change slowly over time and we can see records in nature of this happening over that last 150 million years. There have been numerous periods of time where the field has been become almost non-existent and has even reversed and there are yet no obvious signs that has caused any serious harm.

The ionosphere is where the magnetic field interacts with solar radiation. The scope and energies involved can only be expressed in scientific notation and the numbers are mind boggling.
Nothing manmade could ever effect it.

A sonic boom is caused when air molecules are compressed. When molecules are compressed in a gas they always seek to decompress in the environment around them. This causes fluctuations in pressure that are propagated away from the point of compression. When you get to certain speed through the air a shock wave begins to form where the molecules pile up. as the air in front no longer has time to expand and push the molecules away in a normal way. The "shock wave" boundary dissipates into the surrounding air and makes sound we can hear. This is purely a mechanical phenomenon. Now considering that magnetism is caused by the flow of electrons through a medium I suppose you might get some effect with heating (heat does generate light which is part of the electromagnetic spectrum) but you can imagine the flux caused by a tiny object falling through the air is going to be nothing compared to the flux of day to day solar energy over any given point.

Meteoroid impacts occur all the time penetrating the magnetosphere and ionosphere but usually we cannot hear them. Larger ones can sometimes be seen and heard and have occurred throughout the existence of the earth and we are still here because of God's infinite wisdom that keeps us safe in His grand designs. http://www.reasons.org/articles/earth%E2%80%99s-ancient-magnetic-field
