This may be a silly question but...
« on: May 19, 2013, 10:03:42 AM »

When switching brands of timothy hay it isnt necessary to slowly switch like one must do with pellets right?

I've been very unhappy with the last couple batches of oxbow timothy hay i have recieved so i picked up a bundle of alfalfa king timothy hay and it is so much nicer. My chin has barely been earing the oxbow hay from the last couple batches ive ordered. She is loving this new brand though. Its way greener and just nicer in general.

I dont know whats up with the oxbow hay lately but it hasnt been very nice at all.
Obviously it doesnt help that i have to order it because no stores sell it here so i cant actuallyvsee it before i buy it.

Thanks!!

You are correct that you do not need to slowly switch on hay.  And there is no silly question.  :)
