Using fleece blankets in cage
« on: September 28, 2013, 01:03:23 AM »

I have the critter nation cage double doors at top and double doors at bottom..My question is can I use fleece blankets on some of the shelves and bedding on the others, It is a little hard having to put bedding on both big shelves and both little ones, My plan is to get rid of the plastic shelves and re design the cage, So until then just wondering if using fleece will be okay?

Although I'm not sure about your particular cage setup I know that people use fleece and usually don't have problems. I recommend that if you notice your chinchilla chewing holes in it that you remove it immediately as it is dangerous for them to ingest.
