Twins! (Born 10/12)
« on: October 17, 2006, 12:56:09 AM »

Harold (Beige) and Henna (Dark Tan) have welcomed their fifth litter into the world.  I'm really pleased by how dark one of the babies is...  I'm looking forward to seeing how both develop and trying to determine if the lighter kit is a Tan or a Beige.  (The tummy is too small to tell for sure at this point!)

They are beautiful!  Are they from the same litter?

Edit:    of course they are from the same litter!  I just caught onto the twin thread title!  I need alittle more caffine this morning!  :blush2:

::silly:: Congratulations!Yes, you never know which way they will go or change as they get older.  Mosaics are the only ones that change more drastically than the beige/tan do.

*lol at Jamie*  It's okay.  We forgive you!

My favorite color is Mosaic because of the fact that they continue to change color and pattern for so long.  In this litter, the Dark Tan is starting to look more and more like Mom!  I'm thrilled.  I always thought she was a Medium Tan until she threw a Dark Ebony kit.  (I've attached pictures of Mom and the surprise Ebony that let me know she's a DARK Tan.)

Me too, Sarah!  I have to say that the main reason that I'm so thrilled about the color is this little guy is that Harold and Henna throw a lot of Light Tans and Beiges, so the ones that are different really stand out to me.

They are just cute enough to eat ::nod::
I hear you on the tan/beige , had my first light tan born a few weeks ago. I'm thinking he's a tan now. I was calling him a hetero beige, but his tummy isn't getting white.
So much fun eh!

I sold one of my kits earlier this year thinking he was a Homo Light Tan, but now I am thinking he might be a Homo Beige.  I got an updated picture of him and his belly looks very light, though not bright white...

Oh, how confusing it can sometimes be!
