Losing Friends
« on: October 23, 2006, 06:38:45 PM »

Hi Guys,
I've not been on line as much this last little while, and thought chatting might make me feel better.
In Sept, we lost a dear family friend to cancer.
Before the month was over, my husbands family, next door neighbor for like 30 years passed.
We had Newfoundlands biggest and best advocate pass just a couple of weeks ago, Mr Craig Dobbin. He was another neighbor.
Then last week one of our nearest and dearest, friends, and mentor passed suddenly, while at his cottage alone.
His wife didn't feel up to it, and he wanted to get a few things done before the winter hit.
We would not have been in the refurbishing, and antiques dealing business if not for this man.
He will be missed.
So if I sound  ::glare::I am but I'm coming around again, and trying to find the good in it all.

Thanks so much my friends.
Life sure makes you think sometimes.
It's so easy to think it could be me, and what would I do if something happened to my Husband.
We are helping our mentors wife clear out 30 years of Antiquing. They have a large store, and he's was not long back from the U.S with a trailer load.So much stuff, and the memories that flood us.
It's all good though, just draining sometimes.
Thanks for listening.

Thanks all,
Yes I've been missing you Joyce.
Well Chris is going to work a couple of days a week at our friends shop.
So I get to do more here for a while, not as much free time, like I had much before.
She has the store on the market, but still has bills to pay so will keep going until it's sold.
Could take some time I'm afraid.
She won't be buying anymore but still has much refinishing to do, so Chris will do as much for her as he can.
I may not be here as much as I like, but I'm not gone anywhere. OK
 :)
