Line Breeding
« on: November 15, 2006, 12:19:23 PM »

I have noticed that a lot of the successful breeders will practise a degree of line breeding & are of the opinion that the line should be kept tight.
I know this is not for the novie breeder to undertake but how do you feel about this?

I am not sure I quite understand the definition of line breeding?   Does that mean breeding chins that all come from the same ancestor?  Like pairing chins that share great-grandparents?
