::silly::I never give or reccomend dried spaghetti ... it is sharp and could poke an eye and cause a great deal of damage.  Anything with a sharp edge/end is not good for a chin.
I watch lots of stuff on YOU TUBE ... I have a few of my chins on it myself. ... I'm glad I did not see the one with the chins swimming ... I'm afraid I would have been one making one of those "not so nice" remarks to the person.
People new to chinchillas ... that do not know something is bad, but they see it done, will often, in ignorance, assume it is OK to do  ::glare:: ... I wish people that put stuff out in the public would realize that!  :flames:  No telling how many animals die because of stuff like that.

I have given dried spaghetti to my chinchillas.  I haven't given it often, as I don't give treats very much in general, but I have given it.   ::nod::   The breeder who was my mentor when I first started out and who I trust immensely suggested that it might be better to give a small elbow macaroni instead.

Yea, was homework for my photoshop class, we were supposed to take a picture, make it black and white, then airbrush our own colors to it. in fact my "Avatar" picture is the one i photoshopped, if you wanted to compare hehe.

The chins have changed colors without my help anyway, they used to be both a gray with dark tips, now ones solid grey and the other is pretty much all black. The black one is most people's favorite because he has the white rings around the ears, and he has "eyebrows" because the fur above the eyes is a lighter shade than the rest of him :P
