Hi again
« on: January 09, 2007, 11:14:32 PM »

Hi guys,
Once again, life has been somewhat overwhelming. I am really hoping that 2007 slows down for us.  I miss doing the things that I really enjoy...............like talking to all of you guys.

We miss you too, but I know what you mean.  I have been so busy over the last few weeks I am lucky if I can find a solid 5 minutes a day to sit down at the computer.  I was hoping after Christmas life would get back to normal, but no such luck yet.  ::)

Does it EVER end?????  I feel the same way you all do.  Just when the hectic holidays are over and January hits, we all take a deep breath and think it is time to finally relax and slow down. Yes, just in time for my 16 year old daughter to break her wrist doing an experimental flip on the trampoline!!!!!!!!   ::scaredspeachless::

::silly::Maybe, hopefully, keep your fingers crossed the rest of the year will not be as crazy as the beginning!

Julianne, Jamie and Chins to Love ...
take a deep breath ...
turn your back on what has to be done ...
it will still be there waiting for you tomorrow, wait and see ...
relax a little today ...
the world will keep turning, I promise ... ::)

Joyce, company gone, time to relax a little.
I have empathy with your daughter ...
I broke my little pinky Thursday night and ...
::hah:: bruised a few other places.

Chinpo, look at the bright side ...
you have 3 months to do it ...
much better than ...
3 weeks or 3 days!

Debbie, enjoy the snow,
no rushing to shower, get dressed and fight the traffic ...
mother nature says it's a day to relax!
Enjoy!

Laugh and the world laughs with you ...
cry and you cry alone ...
(not valid at the Chin Club)

OK ...
Who stole all the giggles!?!?!?
See if your chinnies have them and tell them to share!
 ::nod::

I understand husband's that commute.  We moved to Walterboro when my husband was transfered to Charleston.  Its about a 1 1/2 hour drive one way (2 or more if he travels with morning or afternoon traffic).  He makes the drive everyday and has been for the last 4 years.  It has a lot of negatives (the cost of gas, packing lunch to save eatting out bills, leaving and coming home later than he would have)  But there was no way we were going to move to Charleston.  Beautiful town but lots of traffic, even more crime, and expensive homes with no land.  We wanted quiet and acerage.

An added bonus is that his commute has made him a better employee.  He tends to leave early to beat the morning rush hour, and stays a little late to wait out the evening one.   ::)
