 :::grins:: Hi Jo Ann,

The pink white/vc  male I  got from you is showing an incredible amount of violet now!  He is beautiful.  White with violet popping up all through his coat.  I need to get busy and take pictures.

::silly::That could be violet you are seeing or, it could be beige with a violet tinge.  Don't know till you get it in natural lighting next to a beige and next to a violet.  :-[  All whites carry the beige in their back ground.  He also carries the violet gene because of John-Jonn, his daddy, being a violet.

All whites carry the beige in their back ground.

I've never heard this before.  Why is that?

::silly::Oops, I need to re-phrase that ... all pink whites have beige in their background.  The kit Joyce is referring to is a pink white (white beige)/violet carrier.

Thanks for catching me on that, Jamie.  :blush2:  It is so easy to leave out a word or add one and give it a completely different meaning.

What beautilful babies, I never thought of putting a pink white with a violet, but what a gorgeous combo, I might have to rethink my breeding pairs.
