Good for Chins, why not us?
« on: August 28, 2007, 04:34:59 PM »

Okay, so TNChinChin back again.

I decided to try something, out of a touch of curiosity.

Chinchilla dust, if it makes their fur so soft, why not our skin >D?

Someone should seriously market it ;P I put it on my arm to test it, rubbed it down, and a bit later, bam.. super soft/silky skin. Anyone else ever tried it?

sand does the same thing. have you ever noticed how soft your skin gets after a few days at the beach? your feet especially. I'm not sure about dust, but sand exfoliates your skin. I have gotten dust on my hands and it sparkles and felt smoother. The closest thing to the chin dust is different powders they sell- which does the same thing.

I never thought about until you said it tho  ::)

WEll, being in Western TN, I've never even -seen- a beach! lol But, sounds pretty cool. I mainly decided to try it since ChinChin's bath dust smells like cucumber melon XD

Paris Hilton say the green scrubbies work well too. :D
Anything that exfoliates will help, too bad we couldn't find somthing to shrink it back up after gravity takes over. :2funny:
I'm getting wrinkles even on my wrists. :D
I don't feel old so why does my skin have to look it. ::pull hair::

My daughter, who is 16, just the other day used a pumice stone on her feet. She is a lifeguard and is also on the swim team, so her feet are rough. She was so excited about how her feet felt after using the pumice, that she wanted me to feel how soft they were! I politely declined and laughed at her! So, I will have to tell her to take some chin dust and massage her feet in it!  rofl

Yeah, they do sell those file-looking things that has pumice on the two sides. I never put two and two together  I won't be rubbing my chins blocks on my feet, though.  :)

::silly::  TNChin ... what part of western Tennessee?  I've lived in Memphis, Nashville, Johnson City, Kingsport and points in-between!  I'm a Virginia girl now.   :)

Not yet, but I will ... allot less than that stuff you buy at make-up counters and has to be much less expensive!

I only feel old when I look in the mirror.   ::)   Debbie, wouldn't we look much younger if we looked like we felt, instead of how old we are?

That may not be a bad idea!   :::grins::

Why not?  It might work and be much cheaper ... especially since I buy them by the gross!   ::nod::

Now, I wonder how many people will be spending a few extra minutes in the chin room or sneaking a little dust or lava stone into the bathroom tonight???   :D
