Title: Pixel is staying with a friend for a while...

I have strep throat and I'm terrified she's going to get it, so Pixel went to stay with my friend Joeseph who also has chinchillas until I'm no longer contagious. I'm really bored without her. :(

Can human viral infections be contagious for chins?  I know fungal infections, like ringworm can be, but I am not sure about viral or bacterial infections.  Anyone else got info on this?

There's a thread on here somewhere about it. I read it a few weeks ago. I don't remember who started it though. But yes, they can get some of them.
