There are currently 27 chinchillas in my home.  I'm hoping that the numbers will be considerably less after the Claiming Show in Santa Nella next weekend!  ;D

Wow, Kat- Your chins are adorable. I don't think I've seen pictures of all of them. Your cage looks like the ferret nations one we started out with. We fixed it up with pine dividers and trays and turned it into 4 cages.

Right now we have 11 chins.
Females: 1 white mosaic, 1 dark ebony, 1 standard, 1 het beige, 2 beige/whites
Males: 2 standards, 2 white mosaics, 1 dark ebony

some of their pictures are on my site :) I have to take more and add them to the page

Your chinchilla are very lovely especially  Miss Riley and Sugar (What color chincilla do you breed to make a Beige/White ).

Sugar has a sister (Cinnamon) who looks just like her.. but has a little more beige on her body. Their pedigree shows a standard dam and homo-beige pink white sire. The sire's parents were a pink white dam and hetero beige sire. Cinnamon and Sugar were bred by Jamie (Lowcountry) :)

I have an awesome standard male ('Big Boy'-not pictured yet on the site) That I was going to put with the sisters when they are ready.

I'll be taking more pictures to get them all on the site soon.

I have one. His name is Roo He*s a greyish black. wow..i*m just getting use to him, i can only imagaine having 27 or 30. wow! ;D

I have six right now and I am getting another one in about three weeks.
Petie is a dark standard
Roxxy is a standard violet carrier
Addie is a medium standard
Widgette is a dark ebony
JellyBean is a Pink White
Smokey is a solid violet
and...
we are getting a TOV violet next month!
I love our little chilla family

I have 4.  My first is a beige female, I "rescued" a standard female and a mosiac female from a little girl, and a sapphire male.  I would like to get a pair for breeding violets and a s/c female for my male.  So I'm sure I'll be adding more!  Chinchillas are like tatoos, once you get one, you want to get more!
