Title: Shedding a lot.....need advise

I sold one of chins to a girl I work with, this was a little less then a month ago.  She had mentioned to me that he was shedding a lot and thought it could be from stress but she called me today and said he's still doing it so he's being returned to me.  I had never noticed it while he was in my household.  She said it's not coming out in clumps, he's just shedding like a dog or cat would.  Does anyone know why or what it could be?  None of my other chins have this issue.

I've been doing a little more research and it sounds like he's molting or priming?  Does that sound right?

Yes it sounds like the chins is priming.
