Title: HEY! from Virginia!

hello all, I am new to the club and new to owning chinchillas. I got my first two about 6 months ago and fell in love, since then I have taken in another, however one of my older ones is pushing him around so I am on the search again for a mate for him. I am 23 and Im a 911 dispatcher. I think this club is the greatest thing ever! All of my questions have been answered wonderfully thanks so much everyone! I also own a Iguana, a gecko and 2 tarantulas :-)

Welcome to the forum!

I have found that everyone here is really nice and supportive.  I miss Virginia sometimes, I lived in Virginia Beach for a long time but finally got tired of the humidity so I moved out to Denver.

Hi...and welcome.

I've had my first 2 chins for almost 6 months. I was in love after seeing them.
My first 2 needed a home because my uncle's brother could no longer care for them and my uncle works 3 job and couldn't care for them either. Being the animal lover I am he called and ask if I wanted them. I took them. In June I got my 3rd chin and on the 16th of this month...I'm getting another one.
So it sounds like we both started the same way...got 2, then another and now getting another.

I'm hoping my new chin will become a cage mate for my other female. Time will tell.
