So, Every Sunday I clean out my chins cage and put new bedding in. A few hours later my my chins were out again for play time. My kitty always watches them. I got in the fence to spend some time with them. I noticed they were chewing on something different. I took it from them and I noticed that they were chewing on one of my kitty toy. Somehow the cat toy got in there. I'm not to sure how it happend. Waldo might have been playing with it close to the fence and my chins got ahold of it. I'm not sure. But it was interesting.

One of your chinchillas may have found it while playing and carried it back without you noticing! I've caught my little girls several times hopping around with something they've found in the room. They're strong little critters too- I saw one of mine carrying around a hair brush the other day!

rofl rofl Really? a hair brush? I'd love to see a picture of that!

That's so true. My little guy is always finding things in my room. He always manages to find bits of paper or hair clips/elastics! They are so mischievous!! ;D rofl

::silly:: They are usually very proud of their scavenger hunt prizes and often do not like to part with them. I usually trade a Popsicle stick, chew block or a treat in exchange for their new found treasure. :)
Of course, I have found some chins find my "trades" as incentives to find something new (and make sure I see it) each time they are let out for play. ::) Smart little critters!

Lol , thats funny. But my chins weren't running free. They were just running around in there fence area.
-
Well, you never know what a chinchilla will find! I lost a nightgown and my chinchilla found it!

Lol, thats funny. Maybe I should let them run free again. I lost some things shortly after the move and I haven't been able to find them. I thought that maybe my kitty hid them. Now maybe my chins can find them.
I found a plastic thing in there fence area tonight. I know it was on my mini fridge, which is right by there cage. I know my kitty had to knock it down when we weren't around. And somehow it got in there fence again.

::silly:: Cats/kittens love play toys ... ::think:: ... Maybe your kitty is trying to give/share what he likes to play with, with your chins. :) (Or kitty might be trying to put the blame off on the chins for it being missing. :D ) Stranger things have happened! rofl

P.S. Your kitty may also be trying to get you to trade with him ... one of his toys for one of your chins. :P

LOl rofl Yeah, thats what I was thinking. I keep finding a couple of my kitty's toys around there fence.

Once cheech found a jelly bear and bit its head off before I wrestled it from her... She got a taste for sweets (candy) after that and we had to stop eating them anywhere near her. No matter how well I thought I'd cleaned the room she'd find something.
I think your kitty is trying to play... or the chinchillas are luring your kitty over and stealing the toys!

LOL yeah prob. I'm sure Pogo would love some sweets. He loves raisins, but Snowie doesn't even what to try a raisin.
Its one or the other. My kitty has a shoe box he gets in and a couple of days ago it was all the way pushed up again my chins fence. My chins also have a shoe box with a hole in the top.
