So I have noticed in the past week or so, one of my girls, pepper, has been chewing on her whiskers? Or willow, my other one, is doing it to her. Its very recent, cause during a photo shoot (hehe) i noticed they were long and luscious. Now they are very short :::((( Are they bored? Im assuming so. I know they need more toys and things in the cage need to get replaced (branches etc)

That isn't boredom its excessive grooming. Willow is doing it to her. Its not harmful and there isn't anything you can do about it. Just be happy that they are so bonded that she wants to groom her so well. :)

Wow, i never wouldve thought haha. Thank you, very relieving. I do notice the grooming, just never the whisker thing before! Phew ::)

I have 3 gals together and the one that sleeps in the middle has very short whiskers all the time.
I think they stick into the other 2 so they chew them off to get them out of the way. :D

You could put a wheel in the cage for excercise, cut up chunks of pine wood, very cheep. Get some new toys. Let them run around every day. Make them have some fun. ;)
