Are white birch trees...wood from chopped down trees dangerous to Chinchillas??
-
From what I understand, any wood that they can chew on needs to be kiln dried. If its a fresh cut, it will have sap in it that could be harmful for your chin. This is just what I have read on the internet, Nobody that I have seen on here, has said it. Worth at least being aware of tho.

Thank You..I will check it out but that does sound true and definitely makes sense! Thank You!@ ::think::

white birch is safe.. some birches aren't tho so always check, the KD is just for the pine i believe.
if you get tree wood it does have to be processed ..
scrubbed .. to get off any bugs or whatever else can harm the chin
boiled
baked..
not sure for how long..
but that is the process for giving yoru chin safe wood.
