I have two new babies ( didnt even know the mama was prego!!!) and tonight one of the babies escaped out of the cage...... and it took 30 minutes to find her!!!!!
There's two layers of chicken wire and screening going around it- anyone else have some suggestions?!!??!

Can you post a picture of your habitat, so we can look for exits? I am no expert, believe me! But our little one escaped one time, at two days old, and it scared me silly! I figured out quickly that these little heartbreakers are Houdini's! I wrapped the entire habitat in 1/2 inch galvanized mesh. I even wove wire through the gate to close up any gap and used alligator clips where the gate is a bit apart from the gate opening. Perhaps I was a bit overzealous, but he has been safely home ever since! ::nod::

Well I can find the escape holes where she may have gotten out I jsut need ideas of how to improve it- Ghey're driving me nuts and making me worry lol

I used galvanized wire and wove it through any holes not covered by the galvanized mesh that I wrapped the habitat with. I just wove it like a basket. Good luck with your little Houdini! ::nod::

Yes go with the mesh, 1/4 inch is better, keeps stuff inside the cage. ;)
