I know I have asked this before, but i can't remember. If there pee is yellow is that bad?

not necessarily.. i thought that too once, but when i asked a rep breeder she told me that some chins urine color just differs... i don't know tho if someone else will have a different answer, but i do trust the person that told me that. and i have seen yellow urine in the past.

chinchilla urine can range from pale yellow to deep reddish brown and be fine. Yellow is ok

thats good to know. I'm pretty sure last time i asked i was told something dif. Hope i remember this answer this time. Thanks for a quick answer.

i remember the first time i saw their pee and it was that dark red, i flipped out thinking, OMG something is wrong, theres blood in the urine.. then i found out thats the normal color..

then i found the yellowish pee on bo's cage, then i flipped out again, OMG something is wrong, its yellow.. then i found out.. that yellowish is okay too... hehe...

darn chins, always keeping us on our toes!!!
