I had an interesting weekend last weekend. I went to the race track with some friends after school on Thursday. I'v only been one other time. They explained as much as they knew about how to read the guide and pick a horse. My friend gave me $6 to bet and said if If i lose don't worry about giving the money back and if i win, to just give him $6 back. I bet on the 6th race, a trifecta, which means that you pick 3 horses that come in 1st, 2nd and 3rd, it any order. I did and I won $563! I couldn't believe it. They are like this never happens. I didn't beat at all the rest of the night. I put the money in my savings. On sat i went shopping with my friend. I wanted to go in a pet store to look at animals of course. I fell in love with this little girl! She is a ShiChi, which is a Shih Tzu,Chinese Crested. She was born in sept. She is soo well behaved. It took 2 days for the chins to get used to her. I think i'm going to Name her daisy. I wanted to name her after one of the horses that i won, but they wern't good names. I still have to do some more research about the bread.

Here is another Pic of her.

Cute puppy. Shihtzu and chinese crested both have to be groomed every 4-6 weeks. I recommend taking her to the groomer as soon as possible so she can start getting used to it. Chinese crested have been known to have skin issues and sometimes shihtzu can too. I groom dogs for a living. :)

Thanks everyone, Everyone just loves her. Still working on house training her.
It was a great Joy to find out I won. Sometimes I still can't believe it.
megoony99, I have gotten her groomed once so far. She didn't like it to much. I think they were a little rough with her at petsmart. You can watch through that window and when the lady was brushing her she kept making that one sound. She was trying to brush were she had put the bow in. When i got her, she was still a little wet. She was cold. I felt bad. I have a brush that i comb her with.

When puppies first get groomed they all squawk and whine. They don't like it because they don't know whats going on. The more they go the more they get used to it. Also working with her at home everyday helps. Hold her head by her chin hair. Pull on her ears and also take a spoon and rub it by her eyes so she gets used to shiny scissor being by her face. The trick is when she starts fighting(they always do) Do Not let go. If you let go she learns that she can win. I know it sounds mean but it is for her safety. Your groomer and vet will also thank you. ;)
