Title: Eating tissues!!?

my daughter scoops out the poop from the cage with kleenex and our guy is obsessed with eating them! Is that safe for him? What about the boxes? I worry about the bleaches and dyes in them.
Also I've read that paper towel rolls are good toys but our chin just eats them! Is that ok as well?
Thanks for the answers! This our first chinchilla and we don't know much.

Eating a little is okay but if your chinchilla is actually swallowing large amounts of the paper and cardboard you shouldn't give it to him anymore.  Stick with wooden toys instead.
