Title: Herbs. Lavender and chamomile treat by Oxbow?

PLEASE REPLY!!! are these two herbs safe to feed chins?

I know that chamomile is ok, in very small amounts. I've never heard of lavender being used as an addition to a chin's diet. With humans, lavender is mainly used topically(like in lotions) or for scents.
Oxbow's a really reputable company. You could always call and ask them what their research showed that led them to add this to a chinchilla treat.

Lavender is used in a lot of teas now...very calming.  I am not sure how their digestive system will respond but I agree with Lori that Oxbow seems to be pretty reputable.
